PRESIDENT OF THE CONSTITUTIONAL COURT HOSTED THE CHARGE D'AFFAIRES OF THE EMBASSY OF THE REPUBLIC OF IRAQ TO THE REPUBLIC OF ARMENIA
On August 14, 2024, the President of the Constitutional Court Arman Dilanyan held a meeting with the newly appointed Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq to the Republic of Armenia Dr. Ali Abdul Karim Atiwi, who paid a courtesy visit to the Constitutional Court.
First Secretary of the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq to the Republic of Armenia Mr. Saad Fadala Hamza, and the Head of the Legal Division of the Embassy Mr. Hasan Kokaz Kamash also participated in the meeting.
Welcoming the guests, the President of the Constitutional Court highly appreciated the proposals of the Supreme Federal Court of Iraq to enhance the relations in the fields of constitutional justice, mutual visits and exchange of experience, as well as he expressed his willingness in promoting the activities in that area.
During the meeting, the parties touched upon the issues related to the strengthening relations between the High Courts of the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Iraq at the institutional level.
Expressing gratitude for the warm reception, Dr. Ali Abdul Karim Atiwi noted that he would personally make every effort to enhance and strengthen the effectiveness of judicial cooperation between the two friendly countries.
