THE UNITED NATIONS SPECIAL RAPPORTEUR WAS HOSTED AT THE CONSTITUTIONAL COURT
On November 20, 2023, Constitutional Court’s Vice-President, Justice Vahe Grigoryan hosted the United Nations Special Rapporteur on the promotion of truth, justice, reparation and guarantees of non-recurrence Fabián Salvioli, and Human Rights Officer Brenda Vukovich.
During the meeting, issues related to the resolution of disputes by the Constitutional Court within the framework of the function of ensuring the supremacy of the Constitution in the framework of ensuring international human rights standards were touched upon.
Issues related to the cases of systemic violations of human rights, and measures aimed at eliminating the consequences thereof within the framework of the decisions of the Constitutional Court were also discussed.
