PRESIDENT OF THE CONSTITUTIONAL COURT HOSTED THE HEAD OF THE COUNCIL OF EUROPE OFFICE IN YEREVAN
On May 15, 2024, the President of the Constitutional Court Arman Dilanyan hosted the newly appointed Head of the Council of Europe Office in Yerevan Maxime Longangué, who paid a courtesy visit to the Constitutional Court. Welcoming the high-ranking guest, Arman Dilanyan emphasized the importance of the effective cooperation between the RA Constitutional Court and the Council of Europe, which is evidenced by the jointly implemented large-scale projects.
The President of the Constitutional Court attached importance to the new projects outlined in the field of constitutional justice within the framework of the Council of Europe Action Plan for Armenia 2023-2026, which are in line with the Constitutional Court’s institutional reform agenda.
During the meeting, the parties agreed on discussing the details of the joint projects in the format of working groups.
The Head of the Council of Europe Office in Yerevan expressed gratitude for the warm reception, emphasizing that the RA Constitutional Court and the Council of Europe Office are reliable partners within the framework of the projects implemented in the field of justice sector.
