JUSTICE OF THE CONSTITUTIONAL COURT YERVAND KHUNDKARYAN HOSTED THE STUDENTS OF THE “FRENCH UNIVERSITY IN ARMENIA” FOUNDATION
On 17 November 2025, Justice of the Constitutional Court Yervand Khundkaryan hosted the graduating year students of the Law Faculty of the “French University in Armenia” Foundation. The visit was organized at the initiative of Inesa Petrosyan, a lecturer at the same university.
During the meeting with Justice Yervand Khundkaryan, a number of issues regarding the appeal of judicial acts through appellate and cassation procedures, as well as matters related to jurisdiction and competence, were touched upon. The students also learned about the specifics of the Constitutional Court’s activities, its relations with other bodies of the judiciary of the Republic of Armenia, and the separation of powers between the Constitutional Court and the Cassation Court.
At the same time, the students raised a number of questions regarding the powers of the Constitutional Court and the judiciary of the Republic of Armenia.
At the end of the meeting, Justice of the Constitutional Court Yervand Khundkaryan congratulated the students of the “French University in Armenia” Foundation on the occasion of International Students’ Day, wishing them to strive for professional heights - including the highly responsible position of judge - and to contribute, through their human and professional qualities, to shaping the proper image of judges and enhancing their authority.
