GRADUATES OF THE SUMMER SCHOOL OF THE CONSTITUTIONAL COURT WERE AWARDED CERTIFICATES OF COMPLETION
The official ceremony of awarding certificates of completion of the 2024 Summer School of the Constitutional Court was held at the Constitutional Court, which was attended by the President of the Constitutional Court Mr. Arman Dilanyan, Vice-President of the Constitutional Court Mr. V. Grigoryan, Justices of the Constitutional Court Ms. S. Safaryan and Mr. D. Khachaturyan, the newly appointed Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the Republic of Armenia Ms. Marieke Monroy-Winter, as well as the President of “Europe in Law Association” NGO Ms. L. Hakobyan.
During the event, the President of the Constitutional Court had a private conversation with the newly appointed Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the Republic of Armenia, which was followed by the ceremony of awarding certificates to the participants of the Summer School. The President of the Constitutional Court Mr. Arman Dilanyan and the newly appointed Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the Republic of Armenia Ms. Marieke Monroy-Winter welcomed the graduates.
The 2024 Summer School of the Constitutional Court for the students of law faculties of the universities of Armenia was held in Tsaghkadzor on September 7-8. For the participants of the Summer School, lectures were delivered by the Constitutional Court’s Vice-President Mr. Vahe Grigoryan (“The Correlation of International and Constitutional Law”), Justices Ms. Seda Safaryan (“The Role of the Constitutional Court in the Protection of Fundamental Human Rights”), and Mr. David Khachaturyan (“The Legitimacy of Restricting Human Rights”, and “The Limits of Judicial Activism”), as well as human rights activist Artak Zeynalyan (“Constitutional and Legal Dispute”). The lecturers also responded to questions from participants.
The Summer School was implemented by the “Europe in Law Association” NGO, within the framework of the Project “Support to the Institutional Reforms of the Constitutional Court”.
