PRESS RELEASE
On 19 June 2026, representatives of the "Prosperous Armenia" Party submitted an application to the Constitutional Court challenging the decision adopted based on the results of the 7 June 2026 Elections to the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia.
Upon receipt of the application by the Constitutional Court, the Constitutional Court shall, within a two-day period, decide on the admissibility of the application at a procedural session.
If the application is admitted for examination, a justice-rapporteur shall be appointed, who shall prepare the case for judicial examination. In disputes concerning the results of elections to the National Assembly, the judicial examination shall be conducted under the oral procedure. The Constitutional Court is obliged to examine the case and adopt a decision no later than 15 days from the date of receipt of the application.
