In 1991 Graduated with honors from the Department of Law at Moscow State University after M.V. Lomonosov (Russian Federation, Moscow)

In 1995 Completed postgraduate studies at the Russian Academy of Sciences (Russian Federation, Moscow). PhD thesis topic - The Category of Property Rights in the Theory of Law

In 2004 Awarded a qualification in “Economics and Business” at the Regional Institute of Information Technologies at the World Trade Organization (Egypt, Cairo)

In 2007 Awarded a qualification in “European Integration - Constitutional and Legislative Reforms” at the Secretariat of the Venice Commission of the Council of Europe (Italy, Trieste)

He has authored scientific articles on the Theory of Law, Civil Law, Civil Procedure Law and Land Law.
Araik Tunyan is married and has son and daughter.
