Was born in the city of Yerevan on 17 September 1989.

EDUCATION

2010 Received the Bachelor of Arts Degree in International Relations from Yerevan State University

2012 Received the Master of Arts Degree (with honours) in International Relations from Yerevan State University

2015 Graduated (with honours) from the Public Administration and Policy Program at The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University (Medford, USA)

    Served as the Leading Specialist at the Translation-Editorial Department at the Staff of the Constitutional Court 
  • From 2011-2012
    Served as the Chief Specialist at the External Affairs Department at the Staff of the Constitutional Court 
  • From September 2012 to January 2021
    Served as the Head of the External Affairs Department at the Staff of the Constitutional Court
  • Since November 2020
    Appointed as the Liaison Officer in respect to the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Armenia at the Venice Commission of the Council of Europe

    Appointed as the Focal Point in respect to the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Armenia at the European Court of Human Rights 
  • Since 26 January 2021
    Appointed to the position of the Assistant to the President of the Constitutional Court

    Armenak Minasyants received the Celebratory Medal dedicated to the 25th Anniversary of the Constitutional Court of the Czech Republic for his contribution in strengthening the Armenian-Czech inter-court relations. 

OTHER INFORMATION

Armenak Minasyants has previously been a co-founder and member of several Armenian non-governmental organizations operating in the fields of protection of human rights and European integration.  
From 2013–2015 he was a member of EU-EaP Young Leaders Forum under the auspices of the European Parliament.  
He has fluency in Armenian, English, Russian and French.
