1979 graduated from the Yerevan State University's Faculty of Law with honours.

1982 was an aspirant at the Institute of Philosophy and Law at the National Academy of Arts and Sciences of the Republic of Armenia

1983 worked as a fellow and a researcher at the same institute

1991-1993 was the Head of the Faculty of Law of the "Galik" University

1993-1995 was a Specialist of the Mandate Committee of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Armenia

1995 worked at the College of State Administration of the Republic of Armenia as a professor of law

1991-95 was a people's assessor of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Armenia

1997, June 23 was appointed as a member of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Armenia

1998, April 23 by the Decree of the President of the Ra was awarded the Highest Qualification of a Judge

2003 Is the Head of the Department of Law, lecturer at the Slavonic University of the Republic of Armenia

Has a Ph.D in Law. Has authored 8 books and some 70 scientific articles
