ASHOT KHACHATRYAN

Ashot Khachatryan was born in 1962, in the village of Hatsarat of Kamo region of the Armenian SSR.

In 1987 graduated from Moscow Finance Institute of the USSR Ministry of the Higher and Professional education.

1989-1993 studied at graduate studentship at Moscow Finance Academy adjoin to the Government of the Russian Federation.

1996-2000 studied at doctorate of the chair of the State Construction and Law of the Academy of State Service adjoin to the President of the Russian Federation.
1983-1985 – served in the Soviet Army.

1987-1989 worked as a senior specialist, and 1990-1992 as the Head of department at the Executive Committee of the town council National Deputies of the town of Kamo of the Armenian SSR.

1992-2004 worked in the system of the Republic of Armenia Taxation State Service.
2004-2010 the Head of the Legal Department at the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia.

Doctor of Law Sciences, Professor.

In 1999 was elected as a foreign member of the Academy of Natural Sciences of the Russian Federation.

In 2005 – State councilor of the State Service of the Republic of Armenia.

Since 1993 professor at the State University of Gavar.

Since 2004 professor at the Chair of the Constitutional Law at the Law Department of the Armenian-Russian (Slavonic) University.

Since 2004 professor at the Chair of Law and Legislative Procedure the State Academy of Management of the Republic of Armenia.

Author of eight manuals, monographies, scientific presentations, and more than 60 scientific articles.

Married, two children.
