ZINAVOR GHUKASYAN
Member of the Constitutional Court (2003 -2009)

Zinavor Ghukasyan was born on May 25, 1939 in Martuni district (Nagorno-Karabakh).

1947-1957 – local secondary school.

1958-1961 – served in the Soviet Union Army.

1961-1966 – entered and graduated from the Law Faculty of the Yerevan State University.

1996-1970 – worked as an investigator in the Prosecutor Office of Yeghegnadzor.

1970-1978 – worked as the Prosecutor of "Martuni" and "Kalinino" districts.

1978-1982 – worked as the Prosecutor in the Department of General Control and Investigative Department of the Republic of Armenia.

1982-1985 – was the Chairman of the Court of Shahumyan District.

In 1985 – was elected as the member of the Supreme Court of the RA.

In 1998 – was appointed as the judge of the Cassation Court of the RA.

1999 - was appointed as the member of the Council of Justice of the RA by the decree of the President of the RA.

1999 - has been awarded by the Highest Degree of Judge’s Qualification by the decree of the President of the RA.

2003 - was appointed as the member of the Constitutional Court of the RA by the decree of the President of the RA.
